The C: drive fills up with log files named YYMMDDDBFile.log

Issue
The FollowMe Q-Server by default writes a log file to the C:\ root of the machine it resides on when the maintenance tasks are executed, and this functionality is by design. Maintenance tasks include:
  • Pending Print Job Removal
  • Audit Job Removal
  • Credit Additions
  • Transaction Log Truncation
  • Dynamic User Import
  • Report Generation
Resolution
The logging to file can be disabled, to disable follow the steps below:

1) Open the Windows registry editor. Goto the following key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Ringdale\FollowMe\Current Version\
2) Add the following registry value:
"DBUTIL_DebugDisable", it should be a DWORD value and its value should be set to "1".
Once this setting have been applied the next time the utility runs the log file will not be created.
